“A hidden gem! Let’s be honest, unless you live by Pontoon Dock it’s reasonably unlikely you would even know this restaurant existed… which would be a shame because they make some of the tastiest Chinese dishes you are going to find in East London. Portions are reasonable, if not huge. And while prices are mid-range, it certainly adds up as you realise just how good it all is. “We had a pleasant birthday lunch meal at S'more a little on the pricier side, but everything was tasty and fresh! The presentation of the dishes and the interior floral decor was very beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed, the service was excellent - and many thanks for the birthday desserts!!! “We hosted our baby shower at S’more and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to make our event special. They were incredibly courteous, helpful, and attentive throughout. The staff even arrived earlier than scheduled to help us set up and gave us full access to the space well in advance. The food was top-notch; every single guest raved about it! The decor, the music, the atmosphere — everything was beautifully done. But most of all, it was the kindness and professionalism of the staff that really stood out. We felt truly looked after, and it made all the difference. Highly, highly recommend S’more for any event — they exceeded all our expectations!”

“S'more has undergone a remarkable transformation! My previous experience in August 2024 was deeply disappointing, particularly the Honey Roasted Pork (蜜汁叉燒) which was, frankly, the worst I'd ever tasted. However, I'm thrilled to report that under new management and a new chef, S'more is a completely different restaurant. Finally, we have authentic Taiwanese cuisine beyond just bubble tea in this area. I recently tried the Braised Pork Bento and the Jumbo Chicken Fillet, and both were outstanding – even better than many I've had in Taiwanese night markets. If you, like me, were previously let down by S'more, I urge you to give it another chance. This young couple running the restaurant has breathed new life into the place. P.S.
